Rock Band Vocals do not Work..?
I bought an Intec Karaoke microphone for Rock Band today, as they do not seem to have Rock Band in sets for the Wii...
Anyway, I plugged it in, it all goes well. The Wii detects the microphone. But, and then, I try to sing and the microphone was not picking it up. The microphone doesn't work, but the Wii knows I have a microphone plugged in.

I tried the microphone on both Rock Band and Rock Band 2. It doesn't work on neither game, and the package said it was Rock Band "compatible," among other games.
I am suspecting I got a faulty microphone. It seems to be broken in a little port where I need to plug the USB cord into the microphone.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
well it could be that you did get a broken one or in most cases the sensitivity on the microphone is turned down real low so it can't hear you. Try turning it up by holding down the 1 button....or the 2 one and then use the d-pad to turn it up and it should be able to read you
