Can I even buy a seperate microphone for this samsung camcorder?
Using the Samsung camcorder (SMX-C10) and I can't seem to find a seperate plug-in microphone. Need it for a presentation. My professor, whom I am doing research for, suggested the "Audio Technica ATR-6550 Video Camera Condenser Shotgun Microphone" found on Amazon.
Will this work? Have any other suggestions?
The camcorder only has a AV input and composite input?

If there's no microphone socket you can't use an external microphone - it's that simple! If you must use that camcorder, and the sound's not good enough, you'll need to use a separate sound recorder. If you're desperate, see what you can do with a mobile phone.
