Which webcam and which microphone?
I'll be using skype for extra singing lessons and I need to buy a high quality webcam and microphone. My computer is fast and good enough to pick up video/audio from the other end.
I would prefer a mic that is NOT a headset - I would prefer something that can pick up my sound from about half a meter away because the singing excersises can get quite loud and resonant. Budget is about £120/ $200.
Anything that can help with a quality broadcast would be great!!
(Extra thing that might help) I do have a Sennheiser-e935 dynamic mic that I gig with, so perhaps there's a cable I can connect the XLR to computer?
Most of the new web cams have a mic built into them.
You can connect the xlr go to radio shack and get an adapter Your local music store will have the adapter.
