I'm Looking for a CHEAP professional studio mic, any ideas?
I'm interested in the Takstar SM-52 studio recording professional microphone but I don't know too much about Microphones, its for my friend, she loves to sing and I figured a professional mic would be great- as long as it didn't hurt my wallet. any ideas?
I brought MXL V63M and mic power supply for about $125.00 at musician's friend . this jazz musician told me that MXL V63M mic is compatable in quality to a top brand mic that cost $1,000.00 . the mxl isn't as good but the difference in quality is not that noticable . the bad thing is i dont recall the brand model the mxl was compared to . it was a while ago .
