I have headphones that work for my computer, but why won't they work for my portable CD player?
The headphones are also a microphone-headset as well.
The microphone headset has two jacks, one for the headphones and one for the microphone (as these are generally separate connections on the PC). You have to make sure you plug the headset jack and not the microphone jack into the CD player.
If the jack is the right size (a big if) it should work fine.
