If I am trying to connect my computer to my amplifier. I used a 6ft stereo minicable but it won't work?!?!
I connected from the computer the stereo minicable to the headphone jack. Then I used the other end and had an adapter that connected into the stereo's microphone jack. Instead this suppose to work?
Don't connect it to the microphone jack on the receiver- it might work but you would likely only get your sound in mono instead of stereo.
Try this- get a 1/8 inch (headphone jack) to RCA stereo cable (red / white), and plug the red and white ends into the "INPUT" of the receiver, then select the proper input by pressing a button on the receiver. If you don't know what this cable looks like, go to radio shack and tell them what you're trying to do and they'll find you the cable
