have you heard Shure Microphone?
Anyone heard a KSM-27 mic before? Not a big fan of the shure condensers but I found one for a good deal.
Or a perception 420 by AKG? I have the perception 200 and its pretty nice.
Shure makes nice mics. Been at it a long time too. We use them with our Ham radio equipment but they make some sweet ones for recording as well.
