Do Microphones work with ipod touch 8gb 3rd gen?
So i am wanting to get an ipod touch 8gb 3rd gen. i wanted to use the phone apps like fring,skype,icall, etc. But i heard that the mics dont work on8gb's because it doesn't have the features to make it work? so would it be wrong for me to buy the apple earphones with remote and mic? And where in Canada do they sell the Philips mic adapter. because that is just 10 dollars, which is better than buying 40 dollars on ipod earphones with remote and mic.
Yes, microphones work great on 3rd gen iPod touches. The iPod earphones with remote and mic are a great basic set, and are only $29 from futureshop or the Apple Store (+ tax I guess). Can't seem to find any info on the Phillips microphone adaptor at a store in Canada though.
