Ti Dsp Evaluation Board Reduces Electro-Magnetic Interference
Toronto, Canada – GAO Embedded study and experimentation in such applications as scientific research and product development. Its design is based on Texas Instruments' TMS320C6713B DSP. The board uses an independent power supply for A/D sampling, which effectively reduces electro-magnetic interference (EMI) to the computing unit. It also offers code for testing CCS, PWM, ADC, SPI, SCI, CAN communication, FFT, DC brush/brushless motor and AC motor SPWM and SVOWM.
This TI DSP evaluation board, model DEC6713, boasts on-board VL-Bus, data/address/control lead-out wires, special function pins with lead-out wires and 8 status indicating LEDs. It provides an MP3 hardware decoding chip, a 10M Ethernet interface, a USB host interface and 3.5mm audio jacks for MIC, Line-in and phone. The TI DSP evaluation board runs at a frequency of 200MHz with a maximum speed of 2400MIPS and can be integrated in a user's system easily and directly. In addition, this evaluation board supports both external shielded and unshielded interrupt inputs; it also supports removable storage devices.
