iTouch Newest - Great PDA! Compares well with Nokia n810
I got iTouch Newest 3rd gen to replace my Nokia n810 running Garnet VM (for Palm OS applications). The main applications I needed the iPod for were medical texts. I had bought UnBound Medicine apps for the Garnet VM on my Nokia n810, but I could not get most of them to run because (unlike Skyscape), they required a sync to register. (Only my UB Clinical Evidence app registered successfully because I could register it directly over WiFi). Also, reading large pdf's on the n810 was unacceptably slow.
What the iPod doesn't have (compared to the n810)? File transfer via USB or Bluetooth, a "hard" keyboard, Palm OS emulation (and many other emulations--unless the device is jailbroken), on-device file management, flash SWF support, built-in microphone, built-in GPS, options for Launcher applications (unless jailbroken), removable battery.
There may be a few other things (i.e., Bluetooth tethering works on the n810; screen is bigger on the n810, etc.). Overall, the n810 is a much more flexible device, but the iTouch Newest 3rd gen is a much faster machine with a more responsive touchscreen, an accelerometer and, most importantly, tons of apps--many of which are free.

iTouch Newest(3rd Generation) useful & fun to use mp3 player by Apple
I use my iTouch Newest 3rd gen often for music in the car (hooked up to the stereo) which sounds great. With the head phones the ipod does not have enough bass; but when hooked up to my car stereo it sounds great. I used boom box speakers attached to my direct ipod controllable car stereo. I like using the Wi-Fi access to surf the web and check my email when away from home. I use mostly free applications. I listen to podcasts and short movies too.
It does play movies and music videos. I am happy with this iTouch Newest; but it does not hold my entire music library. So I have to select which podcasts, movies and music songs to put into my iTouch Newest from my Mac Desktop computer. This is one of my favorite gadgets. Mine has worked well without any problems.
