Touch 8 Gb Ipod - Better Than Zune 30
I have had the Touch 8 GB iPod for over a week now after selling my Zune 30. The sound on the ipod is MUCH better than the Zune. Much more bass and treble and a little louder than Zune. I am so amazed how thin the Touch 8 GB iPod is with all the features it has. I love the touch/scroll feature (something Zune was lacking).
There is so many accessories for ipod that you will always find what your looking for.I was very dissatisfied with Zune because lack of accessories and the Dec 31 meltdown a few years ago destroyed my back up zune 30.I am sold on Touch 8 GB iPod and will remain a loyal fan for many years to come.

Touch 8 GB iPod - Would Have Bought The 8GB For Microphone
Love the iPod... my first. Does everything I wanted. Only later did I discover that the larger MB iPods have the built-in microphone that would permit Skype and other voice apps. Now, I can plug in an external microphone, but if I had known prior, I would have opted for the built-in one. I have been able to select 'free' apps and download my music via iTunes. Found this fairly easy! Very pleased. Bought Touch 8 GB iPod for me, but my husband, who would never get on the computer but had knowledge of it, has it in his hand all the time!!! I can hardly get it away from him. I just might have to buy myself another one!

Touch 8 GB iPod - Awesome!
I debated between Touch 8 GB iPod and the iphone. As a nurse, nursing instructor and a soon-to-be nurse practitioner, I got tired of lugging around a heavy backpack full of books. This Touch 8 GB iPod is incredible! Everything you could ever ask for in a sleek stylish unit. I downloaded a ton of apps that were either free or cost very little (< 5 bucks). I have a few minor complaints but the pros far outweigh the cons.
CONS:
1) The battery life is not that great. I can barely get a full shift's use out of it.
2) It scratches very easily, somehow within the first few minutes out of the box, I got a few tiny scratches on the back.
3) The letters are sooo tiny! It is very easy to hit the wrong letter if you are typing fast. It should come with a stylus
4) It is a fingerprint magnet and hard to keep clean
PROS:
1) Stunningly clear graphics, even when really zooming in closely to look at diagrams and pictures, it stays clear and crisp
2) Endless applications, it easily replaces a handheld game, kindle, day planner, calculator, watch, notepad, digital recorder, mp3...even my laptop spends more time at home. It does email and will even do texting (after downloading an app). I don't even care that it's not a phone...in fact I like it better without the added annoyance.
3) Truly portable, lightweight, slips easily into a pocket
4) Wi-fi is INSANE! Easily accessible, responsive, reliable...better than expected!
5) User friendly and very easy to navigate
I seriously debated spending the money. As a broke grad student, I tried to wait it out until graduation this summer. Amazon and audible were having a promotion to get an instant $100 off with a subscription to audible. Well worth it as audible is also awesome, however it is owned by Amazon. I would STRONGLY suggest getting the Touch 8 GB iPod rather than the Touch 32 GB iPod.
Although many people told me that the Touch 32 GB iPod would be plenty of room for my needs, I have already exceeded that with downloading all of my music, class lectures, a nurse practitioner review course and various medical apps that have loads of information and videos. Don't hesitate on buying this. You will absolutely get your money's worth out of it. I wish I had bought one sooner!
