Audio OUT (Headset jack) to Audio IN (Microphone jack) connection required........more details given below....?
Hi, I was wondering whether its possible to connect the AUDIO OUT (headset jack) to the AUDIO IN (microphone jack) using some devices, probably capacitor/etc.
Its worthwhile to mention here that the IN & OUT Jacks are of different devices, namely my laptop (Audio OUT) & my home-made FM transmitter which has a microphone jack connection. I wish to transmit the audio signal to the FM Transmitter using some do-it-yourself stuff!
I'm ready for any electrical/electronic work like soldering/etc involving the use of electronic devices.
GSS - Usually, you need to attenuate the audio signal from a headphone jack output to a mic jack input. The headphone output is just too much signal for a mic input and you need to cut it down to an appropriate level.
