does anybody know how to put a memory stick in a compaq presario v5000 ?
the memory stick im trying to put in there is a sandisk M2 memory stick micro adapter. (it's about the size of a cap of a regular sharpie) My guess that it goes in the little pull-out slidy thing on the right side next to where the headphone and the microphone plgs are, but i don't know how to put i in. Can someone help. PLEASE?

The pull out slidey thing is for cards such as cell phone modems not a memory stick. You push it in and a blank card pops out which can be replaced by a real card. My computer allows the remote control to be stored there. A memory stick can only be plugged in if there is a specific port for them. For example my HP Pavillion has a port labeled SD.MS/Pro.MMC.XD for various memory cards. I just tried the card from my camera and it opened fine. I assume that is what you are referring to.
