Handheld Microphone with USB Interface?
Im kinda confused .....at my voice lessons, my teacher has me sing into a microphone and it is connected to a thing that burns a cd.... does this usb interface thing record it into the mic and then you can put it on the computer... i want it so i can record my songs and put them on my ipod.....so can somebody just explain it to me

The USB just gives the microphone a way to input your digital recording into the pc. You would need an application that would covert your input in order to save it on a disk.
More than likely a program would be offered with the microphone when you purchased it to allow you to process the information. If not, then you may need to purchase it additionally, unless of course you have an existing program already on your system. It would definitely be the best way to determine which microphone would suit you best.
