Do drum triggers plug into an amp or only a PA?
I have an acoustic kit and once you have the triggers hooked up and put into the equalizer.
Can you plug the equalizer into an amplifier or only a PA system?
Neither, the triggers plug into your drum brain (controller), and then that plugs into the PA. I use a ddrum AT for a drum brain, but a drum machine, digital sampler, etc. would work as well. Drum triggers make no sound on their own, they only send an electronic signal (voltage) to another device that in turn produces the sound. An equalizer can be placed in front of an amp or PA.
