Is it possible to operate a desktop mic and desktop speakers at the same time, with noise cancellation?
It should be theoretically possible to operate a desktop mic and desktop speaker at the same time with either hardware or software noise cancellation. The Jawbone 2 bluetooth operates on this principle, why can't audio input? So--is it possible? If so, has anyone found a (freely available) software package or hardware designed to do it?
I was hoping to implement something live. (For example: Ventrilo chat.
Give 'Audacity' a shot...
It's a full feature sound recording app., and unlike Windows 'sound recorder', it runs indefinitely.
It takes a bit of gettin' use to, but once you do, you'll luv it.
Don't forget to save the file as well as the recording itself, so you can have the exact same settings so your next recording is identical to the first.
Freeware.
