Skb Injection-Molded Microphone Case For 24 Mics $209.99 This Injection-Molded Microphone Case is SKB's largest mic case and vertically stores up to 24 mics. It's extra-deep to accommodate longer, condenser mics. The SKB mic case includes a large, padded accessory compartment for storage of cables, mic clips, or other mic essentials and it's part of SKB's 3I Waterproof Series. What type of microphone is best to be used in a noisy environment?
We are going to record my podcast at a local bar this coming week and I need to know should we use the dynamic mics or the Condenser mics? And please state why you answer the way you do or provide a link so i can show our tech guys!

Simple
For rejection of surrounding noise you would use a dynamic - typically condensers are used for recording because they pick everything up - dynamics are ideal for 'live' work because they have a closer range and do not pick up 'spill'.
You need to use a dynamic close to your mouth like vocalists do (in live performance) if you are close enough, you will just get the vocal that you want and most of the background will not be recorded. Condensers are ideal for a quiet room like a recording studio.
