I am thinking about about to buy a condenser microphone around this price (budget, I know) could someone tell me if it would be a good buy for the stated price of £19?

Eww. I'm sure it's great for Skype or maybe even podcasting, but for anything more serious, buy a branded microphone. Yes, even a Nady. That thing is probably only worth about $10 US, and on par with a basic Radio Shack corded karaoke microphone. Definitely not for band duty!
