Can I plug it directly into these? Or what else do I need? Is this a good set or is there something better for about the same price? Please help me I am clueless! haha =) thanks
Directly into the speakers? No. You plug the mic into the powered mixer, then plug the powered mixed into the speakers. And the mixer needs to be plugged into a working wall outlet.
For $200, don't expect much.
I'd spend more for quality, workmanship - and a known place for help when things don't work right... Shop JBL, Kustom and Peavey. Check Guitar Center.
Personally, I'd rather use Mackie PA gear, but that's outside your budget.
